Family Weekend!

Okay, so this picture is just perfect.  These kids are buds and they love each other (most of the time) and they just have so much fun together.  Morgan just graduated on Friday, and these kiddos will be moving in the near future, and we are so happy for the Youngs!  They will getting their one place, and space, and all that they deserve (living under us for 3 1/2 years probably wasn't the easiest.)  But moments like this....my heart aches a little to know there will be less of them.  We LOVE you guys and we are excited for you!

Ty, Ty, Ty....it was a better week.  It helped that he wasn't as sick this week.  He was a better boy.  In fact, he finally got a prize today for getting 10 stickers on his sticker chart....finally!  I am grateful for the VT message this month about the Savior not having guile, and children being without guile.  It was a good reminder that Ty is not intending to do bad things, and that he is pure and well, it was what I needed to hear.  I do love my Ty and he is such a bright kid, we just have our moments and I'm hoping to help him through this fun stage.

This is what Libby looks like when she is sick.  Nope, she is not crying...just oozing liquids everywhere.  Poor girl was miserable!  But she has done really well since and she even broke her 7th tooth!  What a trooper!

These two spent a day on the couch watching tv so that they would relax and get better before Grandma and Grandpa came!  (Ty was better, but Libby needed to slow down for a day or two!)

Ty and Daddy hunting dinosaurs!  You know, I don't say it enough - but Chris is an AMAZING father!  Ty is so blessed to have Chris.  They are best buddies and moments like this melt my heart.

So we ate a lot this weekend - so prepare yourself to see lots of pics of us eating.
Chris is holding what is called "Lock and Bagels."  Mary and Gary Young (Morgan's parents) brought this as part of our breakfast on Saturday.  It is cured salmon, red onion, cream cheese, and capers on a bagel.  Chris tried it and liked it!

I think these two like each other. :)

Tucanos!  Libby did great and Chris ate a lot of meat.  Both were happy!

Ty and Sam waiting to be seated at Tucanos.  They were sharing so well and Grandma loved having both boys being so kind to each other.

Ty enjoyed eating all of his food at Tucanos with the little "grabbers."  The kid was in heaven!  It was a great time with family celebrating Morgan getting his Master's Degree!

Truth - Chris lets loose when his family is in town.  This picture is proof!

Ty wants to be like his daddy!

Undies party!  Just relaxing in bed with daddy!

My happy girl!  She is saying a lot of words lately.  My favorite are teeth and Jesus.  Both hard words but she says them and it's adorable!

The Youngs and Watkins doing what we do best...eat!  We were spoiled to be able to spend so much time with the Youngs.  Ty thinks that Mary and Gary are his grandparents too, and they treat him as such!  Thanks Morgan for sharing your family with us and congrats on all of that hard work! Yay for graduation!

Before church today....oh this girl has my heart!

  1. That last picture of Libby is awesome! She looks so grown up. It's like you can kind of see the future and see a little girl standing there instead of a baby/toddler.
