Lake Powell

We got an early start on our Lake Powell journey so that we could spend the day at Bryce Canyon.  It was so crazy!  The weather was on our side - not too hot-in fact, as we drove up the canyon the temperatures dropped too.  A bit of cloud cover and a breeze and it was a fantastic day!  My favorite parts was the amphitheater and the natural arch.  Both exceeded my expectations!

LAKE POWELL

We drove to Page, AZ where we spent the night in a hotel and then got up and drove to the marina.  My favorite was hanging out on top of the boat taking in all of the scenery during the 4 hour boat ride to Last Chance Bay.  We were headed to the spot that Chris's Aunt Kristin and Aunt Andra had saved our place.  We had 2 speed boats, 2 house boats, 5 jet skis,  paddle boards, kayaks, etc.  So much fun!

Grandma K is the whole reason we all got together.  Grandma Keddington wanted to celebrate her 90th birthday with all of her family at Lake Powell. And she is amazing! You can see in some of these pictures that she drove the houseboat for part of the time and jet skied and she said if she wasn't so old, she would have done the cliff jumping too! She has such spunk and it was a great way to celebrate her and enjoy being a family.

All the Family!!

Couldn't keep these kiddos off of the kyaks!

Grandma K sat and held Grace and just sang to her.  It was precious!

Cousin Buddies!

It was great.  Hope to do Lake Powell again!
