Christmas

Ty and Libby had to learn to stay in their beds as Elvis the Elf started bringing them their treats and toys....see, there was a morning where I was up at 5am taking gum out of Libby's mouth and getting the kids back in their beds.  So, the new rule was that if they came out early, that they didn't get their Elvis stuff.....and it worked!

These two have been playing together a ton, and it's been fun.  In the pic below Ty is in his "bed" and Libby is reading him a story.

Our traditional Sunday pics!

So Chris LOVES beef.  We all know this.  But to see to what extent has been entertaining to say the least.  It's like under 10 degrees and he's out grilling....cause he found a new way to make steak so tender and amazing....so, he froze but made some yummy stuff.

And there you have it....steak made in freezing cold temperatures!

Such a girly girl...painting her fingernails red and green for Christmas.

Ty painting stuff that Elvis got him.

These kids love their Grandpa Sorensen.
He loves them too:)

Maybe it's weird that I take pics of them playing together...but when they do and do so well, it's worth taking a picture of.

So many deer!  One night we had 20 between our home and the orchards...it's so fun to observe them and the kids love it.

No the greatest pic, but we spent a day at the duplex the week of Christmas.  The kids have been pretty helpful the last two times.

Chris put it up for rent and after a bunch of applications and showings and (and time put in by his parents, Ben, and Morgan...THANK YOU) it is ready and our first tenants moved in on Monday!

Happy times!

Merry Christmas to us!  We got this couch off of a facebook yardsale site and WE LOVE IT!  It's comfy and really great for our family room.

Chrismas Eve breakfast with my sweeties.

Christmas Even outfits!  The shirts were from Bora and so perfectly festive!

Christmas Eve Dinner!

Libbers being a goof.

In my opinion, best song of the night - made me cry.  "The Most Beautiful Story That's Ever Been Told"

Joseph (Henry) and Mary (Noel) and baby Jesus (Evelyn)

Singing "Silent Night" in German with Grandpa Watkins.

Enjoying the Christmas Eve Program

Christmas Morning!
The kids woke up before us and went and got their stockings and brought them upstairs and started eating their goodies.  Then we got Daddy to come down and start opening presents!

I can explain....
See Chris loves Flaming Hot Cheetos, and there was a sale...the LOWEST price I have EVER seen....which you know, we've bought a lot of these, so I KNOW...so I stocked up and filled a box.  Win-Win!  We spend less and it's a fun Christmas surprise!

Remi just filled his pants...lol!

We loved having Remi (AND his parents) here for Christmas!

And it was a WHITE Christmas!  So much snow!  We had to dig ourselves out to get to church!

Christmas morning breakfast!

Christmas Dinner!!!

Playing in the snow with the cousins!  Girls unite!

Our new family vehicle!  We couldn't fit all of our carseats in the camry...so we got am '08 Toyota Highlander.  Chris is in love with it!  And I'm grateful it gets me up my steep, curvy driveway!  There's been a lot of snow since Christmas!

Ty got a bow and arrow for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Watkins and has been hunting around the house.  It's so fun and he's adorable.

Grandma and Grandpa Watkins came and stayed with us after Christmas just in case I went into labor.  It gave me such piece of mind to have them here!

This is the morning of Dec 28th.  I'd been having contractions since 5am and there was a bit of cuddle action as we waited to see what might happen.....which will come in the next post:)
