Family Time at the Cabin

We went up to the cabin with everyone for a couple of nights while the whole Watkins family was here and the pic below has to be my favorite pic-mostly because the two people in it are super cute AND there is a funny story to go with it.

Myles LOVED this fish. His daddy caught it and it didn't survive, so we had to keep it. He just wanted to hold it SO BAD that you could see it all through his body....So he got to hold the fish and loved every second of it. However, his dad decided since they had to keep it, he would gut it and eat it-waste not, want not! So Myles let him take the fish and then Ben gutted the fish and skinned it. Through the entire process Myles was watching and crying, begging his dad to not "break" the fish! After all, this had become Myles' most fun toy! When Ben skinned the fish, Myles threw a huge tantrum of stomping and sobbing because his dad "broke" the fish. There was no consoling him, he just had to cry it out. And I just sat there watching the whole ordeal and laughed.

Monday morning fishing at the creek!

Leave it to Ben to take the children's glowsticks to a whole new level. Children-do not try this at home!
Ben and Dena "fighting." I think someone was about to get a wet willy or something like that. These two always go at it. I LOVE how Dena doesn't take Ben's smack!

We had authentic Argentine and Mexican food while we were there. SO TASTY!

All of the kiddos at the cabin wanted to catch a fish! The pics below are the only pics I could get of them and their fish!

Brianna finally caught her fish right before they had to head back to Nevada!

Charlie caught his fish, but in the excitement reeled it in so far that it hit the pole and unhooked itself!

Mya was super excited to catch her fish. She came running over to all of us with the fish still on her pole!

Charlie also caught this really cool bright green inch worm!

We love you Watkins family and had a TON OF FUN!
