New Addition to my Portfolio

So here are the pictures of my new wheels that you have all been dying to see. As you can see its a beautiful truck. Let me tell ya, it drives even more beautiful than it looks. I still am a little shocked at the empty piggy bank but hey, I'll work it out. Some facts about the truck:

• 2006 Nissan Frontier LE
• 36,500 miles on the vehicle
• 4X4
• Automatic V6 (I think its faster than my matrix)

So I saw this good looking deal that seemed to good to be true so I called up the dealership and verified the price etc... So on a whim Devin and I jumped in the car and headed to the dealership at 6:30pm Friday night. We checked it out, test drove it, and I couldn't believe it when they priced the car below Trade In Value. Turns out that the price was a mistake, had they known the truck was priced below trade in value they would not have advertised it. The way it happened was the dealership bought the truck through an auction and they bought it at the price of the work truck model which is a few thousand dollars less. The car is the luxury edition model (LE). The internet pricing is based on the cost of the vehicle and they automatically mark the truck up a set amount from there. So becuase they got the car for cheap at the auction the internet automatically generated a price that was low. They didn't catch it but I did so I got a sweet deal. Everyone at the dealership including the finance guy was telling me how lucky I was to be getting such a low price. Kelly Blue Book prices the vehicle thousands of dollars more than I bought it for.

As for me and my life, things are going pretty well. I have been working a ton, going to school a little bit, playing a lot of volleyball, running 3 miles 3 times a week, and working out in between.

Yesterday evening I was on a date and we went up past midway after purchasing mexican take out. We drove my truck (there were 4 of us) and we parked the car and the edge of a moutain that overlooked the whole Heber Valley. After dinner it was pretty dark but I wanted to hike to a meadow I had found a little while ago. I had forgotten flashlights...so I parked at this pond and we began our very short hike in the dark through the aspen forest. We didn't get very far when Devin, who was heading out our journey stopped suddenly and we all listened. He had though he heard a growl. Then a few moments later, after not hearing it again, we proceeded forward when the growl came again but louder. Immediately Devin turned around and said, "Okay! It's time to head back!" We turned and walked back to the truck very cautious of what might be following us. We got back safe with no harm done. An exciting adventure! Haha

Work is going pretty well, there are a few programs that we are creating that I will act as the Project Manager for. We are rolling out our occupant coaching program, as well as beginning the sale of our Financial Wellness Education course. There is some good potential on the horizon for our company.

School is going great. I am taking Volleyball, Introduction to teaching seminary, History of Creativity, and Information Systems. All of my classes will be great. And i get to take a class that is pure fun.
