This has been a great week!
Chris stained and put in our railing. The man is awesome. He hasn't skipped a beat. The minute the bed set was done he was out staining the railing. Now it's up and it looks NICE!
Last weekend we had a "Churn Off" with 4 other couples from our ward. Each couple made a batch of homemade ice cream, we tested them all, and then we voted on our top two favs. It was super fun.
We ended up watching the BYU game because unbeknownst to me, the game was at the exact same time as our churn off. It was great. We ate ice cream, watched football, and played Pass the Pigs during commercial breaks.
Ty loves to dress up. He had on his dad's suspenders, his helmet, and later his red gloves. I realize that I need to use this to my advantage in teaching him. I need to figure out a way he can dress up to learn about stuff......lol.
Speaking of dress up...Libby got to wear this wig again at family dinner, thanks to Chloe and Abby.
There was a butterfly that stayed in our backyard, fluttering from leaf to leaf and letting us look at it.
We have had some great weather! Looooved the rain and thunder!
We stopped by the temple. But it was so stormy that we didn't stay long.
Once again, Ty loves dressing up!
Libby, Libby, Libby....she screams and hits a lot. She is also ridiculously adorable. She has so many fun words coming out of her mouth. She is dramatic, rolls her eyes, and is all girl.
She and I checked out the museum of art while Ty was at sports camp...she liked this little girl reading a book.
Friday morning, this was my breakfast bunch. :) Sam and Noel slept over so that Terie could be at her surgery early that morning.
These kids had such a fun day of playing. Ty has been asking for Sam and Noel to come play everyday since!
We also played on the quad!
On Saturday Chris and I had a date up hobblecreek canyon with the quad. We had a great time being outdoors and enjoying the beginnings of fall.
We didn't see any elk. Just lots and lots of cows and cow poop.....
