Here's the latest with our family!
My sister headed back to Macon, GA at the beginning of January. She is due on Jan 28th with a baby boy and I am so excited for her! It was sad to say goodbye, but it was great to spend some quality time.
Ty really likes hats these days. He wears daddy's beanie, his own, and...sometimes his mommy's. It's like 7 degrees outside right now, so there has been a lot of beanie wearing!
Ty got his second serious haircut. He loved it...well, not really, but we love how he looks!
Chris is a great barber and does a wonderful job.
My handsome guy Ty!
My handsome boys! Life is so wonderful with these two handsome men.
Ty loves wearing hats! He's been so entertained with trying to put them on his head. I just love it!
Ty is soooo busy. He's always helping mommy and in to everything!
Ty got a new sippy cup with a straw so that I don't have to stand there and feed him his smoothies. He LOVES it and doesn't ever want to stop. He drinks the whole thing and always asks for more!
YUM!
This next paragraph is mostly for my own record, but feel free to read all of Ty's latest and greatest.
Ty is doing a lot more walking now, but it's mostly each night when we try to have him walk back and forth to us. He's saying "I love you" "Mama" (FINALLY-but usually we have to ask him to say it, if not, he always says, "Dada") He's said "more" really well for a while and we're really working on getting him to say his "B's" and he did just say "bye bye" for the first time. He knows where his ears are, his nose, his tummy, and his mouth. He knows that a car says, "vroom" and a cow says, "moo" and a sheep says, "baaaaa" and a dog says, "arf!" = ruff. He says, "Hi kitty kitty" when he sees a cat, but can't say the "meow." He has four teeth now, is still taking 2 naps a day, and still loves to eat a banana first thing every morning-followed by millet cereal or oatmeal. He loves baths and showers and always cries when it is time to get out. He hates getting his diaper changed. He wrestles with daddy, loves his stuffed animals, and it so much fun! I just love being a mom to this wonderful little guy!
