So this year for Chris’s birthday I got him a house. It was a pretty sweet birthday present and I love the fact that for the next 30 years of our loan, I won’t have to even think of buying him a present. Just kidding! It just so happened that we closed on the house the day before Chris’s birthday – and moved in on Chris’s 24th birthday. I’m not sure it was the most fun thing to do as a birthday activity, but Chris’s parents made it totally worth it with a birthday dinner at Tucanos. It’s a good thing we did most of the moving before dinner….cause we ate a lot.
