So this was an EPIC surprise! I am surprised that we made it through all of the planning and carrying it out and I didn't spill the beans!
So Dena turned 60 on July 19th. We (the ENTIRE Watkins clan) showed up a week early and surprised her and went camping with her at the Manresa State Beach. Dena LOVES her family and the beach. Seemed like the perfect surprise, right?

Truth is this, we planned to show up and stay with Dena, but her kitchen, family room, and front room were completely gutted and she had no AC - and it's like in the 100's! Those of us without in-laws close stayed with the Reynolds. Our hubbies donated the gift of their time to help get things moving and get their renovation ahead of schedule so we could all go camping.

We woke up early and headed to Paradise Patch to spend some time with Audrey, her goats, and the chickens!
