We had a wonderful day yesterday going to the Oakland Temple and visiting Grandma K. Picture overload below:
Ty was a hoot at dinner and Grandma K. was just witty with her conversations with us and Ty. When asked what Ty's favorite dessert was, he said "Grapes!" and Grandma K told him that the grapes were too expensive so she bought a pineapple instead (the pineapple was part of our dinner.) She then asked Ty if he would like some ice cream...and well, our Ty and ice cream, it was crazy! He ate it all, ate a scoop of Grandma Watkins' and then proceeded to lick the bowl...and everything else. Funny boy.
Grandma K has this gorgeous walking path in some beautiful hills by her house. Chris and I went for a walk while both kids were napping!

Visitors Center where Ty learned that, (in his own words) "Jesus has scars in his hands and feet. Bad guys killed him. But he was resurrected." My little one is growing up. He very reverently told this to Grandma K and Grandpa Watkins yesterday when he saw them. It was adorable, but amazing that he's starting to learn about his Savior.
I am sure grateful for grandmas and great grandmas. They truly are a power for good with these little ones. It was a special day.
